According to my spd-consultant the problem is that the medical counselor from my health insurance doesn't see/accept ME, FM and MCS as a real disease and so he recommended to see for a doctor who does accept these diseases and who is willing to tell this. Because dr. Tisscher gave me the diagnosis MCS I asked him if he wanted to do this and he approved. At least he can explain everything about ME, FM and MCS. He will now contact the health insurance and then we hope it helps.
On Tuesday 9 September at 11.30 hours I have the hearing by telephone. My spd-consultant will be there to help me if necessary.

We also contacted Legal Aid. We have to sent them all the papers (also the papers about the daisy-player) and put everything on paper. They then will see if there is a rule on which we can appeal. This again means a lot of work for us (copy papers, write a letter), but it is for a good cause.

Meanwhile I have received my 20 spoken books from the library including the next part (5th) of William Sarabande... I think you will know which book I will listen first.

We are just being called by the medical counselor of our health insurance, it's the first time we have him on the phone and know his name! They will pay the bill for fixing the notebook for this once!!!!
Should they have received our appeal? In this appeal we had mentioned that we also sent a copy of that appeal to Legal Aid.
If my notebook will crash again, then it will not be fixed anymore and they will come to get it.
If my hospital bed becomes defective, they will examine again if I really need a bed.
It appears that with this health insurance company everything will each time be investigated again, so if something breaks there will again be investigated if you (still/really) need it. If not in their eyes, they will come to get it.
So the future about me hospital bed, special mattress etc isn't sure at all. Let's just hope nothing breaks.
The reason that they won't pay for the reparation of the notebook next time, is that I don't need it to communicate... at last I can still talk even if it is very soft and only for a short time. That I use the notebook to have social contacts doesn't matter to them. You have to need the notebook to ask for food for example, only then it is granted.
A hospital bed is only approved when you have to be taken care on it, but that you have a couple of hours of help (PGB) to be taken cared of is not final. You need a medical indication which makes clear that you have to be taken care on the bed. I think it's really crooked and frustrating. I just hope nothing breaks down anymore. We do contact Legal Aid though to see if they think we should go on with this case or if we should wait till the next time (what hopefully never happens).
The medical counselor couldn't tell us anything about the daisy-player. He and 2 others will be the one at the hearing by phone on Tuesday 9 December. I just hope that he DOES agree for a daisy-player after the phone-call of dr.Tisscher, but honestly I doubt it because he seemed really blunt.
