Tuesday morning July 10 someone from the company rang at the door again at 08.15h, so again going downstairs as sick as a dog, but this time they kept the promise. Now that contractor!! Their project leader hasn't been at the company for some week now... sick?, holiday? We have no idea, the only thing we do know is that this Friday is the last workday and then they have a national holiday for 3 weeks!! So still can't go on, the curtains who normally hang in the hallway, hang now over the couch at the bedroom since 15 June to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. We still can't hang up the curtain at the bathroom. Now when you are somewhere at the window they can see you outside, especially at night when the light at the bathroom is on.
But well, I at least now have a toilet and I got those long spout joystick control basin mixers everywhere. Today I would also get the intercom with the electric door-opener, but after we had wait for hours Henk called at 14.00h to see if someone would come for this today. No, not today, tomorrow I would get the intercom... why didn't they let us know this by phone?!!

At 10.30h the other company (the contractor) rang at the door after Henk had made an angry phone-call with them yesterday afternoon. They have made a conversion around the toilet-transport in the hallway and hang up another door at the toilet downstairs. The 'old' door was only a half year 'old', but because there has to be a handle on the door and because this door is hollow from the inside, they had to hang up a new one. The guy who made the conversion appears to be the brother of the owner of the company, so I say to Henk that he has to show him the bathroom. So Henk went upstairs with him and this guy also thinks it's scandalous how they have done the tiling. He will tell this his brother and after the holidays we have to call his brother and tell him that he has to come see it for himself... will we then really get our right and will they fix it decently??!!!
At 16.30h they were ready and went home, but I still don't have the intercom. So that company again didn't keep their promise!!!!

This week we will see nobody anymore and next week starts the national holiday of 3 weeks, so after the holidays it will be continued again...
