The next day they arrived again at 07.30h, because yesterday on the way to us 1 window-glass of the front cracked and now they came with a new one to put it in the front... ah we already don't find such things strange anymore. This luckily made less noise, at last the old front already had been broken out.
The electrician also came to make an electricity point in the closed veranda for recharging the battery of the electric wheelchair. At 12.00h everyone was gone again. The only thing that has to be done now is painting the sliding door and the front, but this of course can only be done when the weather is better. This will be somewhere in spring or summer and so I will not tell this here anymore, unless this also causes misery again.
The plumbing-company also had come on the order of the contractor, but they only looked at the heating and hang up some prick story and then they took off again without having done anything!!! Basically for me it has come to an end to all the misery of the adjustments and appeals. Everything put together it took 2 years, but finally everything is ready and came okay. And if I read the other story's at some discussion lists I consider myself very lucky that I got the adjustments I need and asked for.
I am still busy with the government to get a bath elevator... I have appealed against their negative decision. I got a brochure of the Rehabilitation which adjusted our car, which contains some info about a bath lift that works on water pressure; you lie on some sort of board and through water pressure you fall slowly into the tub. The government has denied this, because the doctor and the ergonomic advisor in 2000 both advised the following: bath tub gone, make a wet cell as they call it (= shower) and then lying down on a stretcher-bath lift under the spray in the wet cell, this way I lie in utmost 10 cm of water... brrr freezing cold. You can somewhat imagine I guess how expensive such a rebuilding is, let alone all the misery you got with it. And besides I don't want to loose my bath tub, I am just now happy with my bath tub so I can lie in water once in awhile instead of only bed washes which has been for years. In this house we now finally have a bath tub, while in our previous year I have only had bed washes from 1998 till 2001 because there was only a shower which I couldn't use because I can't sit.
The bath lift I want costs only a small trace compared to what they want.

P.S. thanks to an email friend I found out that I had forgotten to tell how it went with the colour of the tiles in the bathroom... well, they are still the same and there will nothing be done about it.
Unfortunately you can't see the colour at the picture very well, in reality it's more blue / green, but you do see a clear difference.
