Day 3
I have slept pretty well, every few hours awake but that's normal. At 09.40h I take off my eye mask and push the bell. I brush my teeth and ask I can take a bath. This is possible, but if I can wait for awhile. Well that's not problem of course. Around 10.20h I take a bath and then up to the sundeck. Past night the water wasn't really quiet, the boat went up and down, but this was pretty nice. I had suspected that this would become a problem, because without being on the sea I regularly have the feeling that I am in a rowboat on open sea in a hurricane. But maybe it's just because of this that I had no trouble with it, that now my feeling of movement is correct with the real movements.
The bath was somewhat too hot, so they walked with buckets of cold water because there comes no cold water out of the tap. As I were in it was nice, but a bit later the water still appeared too hot (after 10 buckets of cold water) because I got the feeling of fainting. They quickly took the hose and kept it about my head (25 °C ??) and this luckily helped. All this was too much for me though, because I suddenly got very exhausted and luckily they saw this. I say 'they' because they were with 2... women that is. They dried me off and helped me back into bed. At 11.30h I am back in bed, luckily because sitting was exhausting and painful. (Explanation: you get lifted in/out of bath in a chair) Actually I should go rest before Henk and my parent arrive, but I don't want to and beside when they are here the adrenalin will start rushing. Just before I took a bath I got the poem from the guest, it is a beautiful poem.
I am very curious how Yerseke will be, I do want to go on shore. I only think that it will be easier for Henk and my parents if I go with my wheelchair instead of the brancard... so better take an extra tramadol in front. I do think though that I have to wear my raincoat, the nice weather is over. It's a pity, but well I also wanted to experience this weather on the boat and so I got both. Fairly spoken it seems excited to me to experience a storm. The wind at least blows rather hard so we are not allowed to be on deck.
At 13.45h we dock at Yerseke. Henk and my parents are already on shore. They see me wave and wave back to me. We first go check the sundeck, because there you have a beautiful view which I want them to see. If my father gets thirsty we go to the salon.
The weather is too bad to go to Yerseke, it rains much too hard. It also must be too far for me with the wheelchair, because the harbour is about a 20 minute walk from the village Yerseke. We see other guests completely soaked coming back and hear that everything is closed in Yerseke. So we don't go, which I find really sucked.
We have it real pleasant tho, we laugh and talk a lot. Henk makes some pictures of me and Douwe, me and John and the mug with a very funny line namely 'this liquid is very healthy, it's very tasty too, so have a pull at the bottle and try to empty it' (this mug always contains my 'food'). Mom made a few pictures of Henk and me together. At 16.30h they left back home, my dad had to feed his pigeons and at 20.00h he had a tennis match. And because it is about a 2 hours drive, they unfortunately already had to go. I wave at them and then I let someone bring me back to my cabin. Now they are gone I notice how exhausted I am, so I try to get some sleep so I will be able to join tonight again.

At 18.45h I wake up, because I really have to pee... shit I am still so exhausted and I feel so nauseous. At 19.10h I call to come and get me, empty my urifem, brush my teeth and take some extra paracetamol 500. I hope that the paracetamol helps enough for the nausea so I can still join the evening.
A volunteer says as she heard that Henk would come 'oh, then I have to stick a note on the door that there may not be disturbed and that your parents may not enter your cabin'. As they brought me back to my cabin a volunteer saw a note on the door which said: no entrance for unauthorized people, lovers cabin, duo stay away please. Of course I saved this note to put in my scrap-book.
A volunteer got some cards for me at the counter, so I could choose some to sent. Shit, I miss 2 addresses in my agenda so tomorrow I have to call Henk.
At 20.00h I get a so-called 'Zeeuwse bolus', it's real sweet but tasty.
First there is being told about mussels, how they grow etc. and after that there is a falconer with a hawk. A volunteer has asked for me if the falconer wants to come at my bed with the hawk. The hawks name is Pieter and he is 3 years old, I even may stroke him.
From 21.30h on there was a film about mussels. Ans, a volunteer, made pictures of me and the falconer with the hawk and of me and the married couple in Sunday farmers folkloric costumes. The couple and the falconer have internet and so I gave them my business card. I also ate a raw mussel... damn that's salty, I immediately need to drink something. It was a very nice and succeeded day and evening. I think I will go to sleep again, meanwhile it's 23.40h again.
