Day 4
It took awhile before I fell asleep and of course I woke up regularly, also from the pain, but I still didn't take anything. At 10.30h I wake up, very sick and I hurt a lot, I am completely shaking. I push the bell and luckily it doesn't take long before someone comes. First I take my meds, brush my teeth and then we go up to the sundeck.
At 13.00h I let someone bring me to the deck, the sun is shining and I lie with my legs on the bed.
The poem which I got yesterday, appears to be from a woman who's name also is Ingeborg. We talked for awhile together. As she went for diner, Douwe and I told jokes to each other. Not much later the sun left and it got cold, so back to the covered part again.
At 15.00h I went for a nap, because at 18.00h there is Captain's diner and this I wanted to experience. From Ans I got a dress to borrow, I may even choose between 2 dresses. During packing the suitcase I was thinking of taking my long black dress with me, but I thought that this is not very handy in bed so I left it at home. If I had known that there would be a Captain's diner, then of course I would have taking it with me. Before I go to sleep I ask if they want to awake me between 17.00 and 17.30h.

I haven't really slept and at 17.00h they came to wake me. They help me into the dress from Ans and then they help me back to bed. This time on bed, because in bed it's so hard with a long dress and besides then you can't see it. At 18.00h Captain's diner starts, I have also eaten a bit, from everything 1 small bite.
At about 19.00h my left arm starts cramping up and a bit later also my both legs are in a cramp. At 20.30h Captain's diner is finally over and I ask if someone can massage me. John massages my under legs, it's painful but it helps. A while later I can luckily move my left arm and both legs again. During diner I had a lot of trouble to not fall asleep. After Captain's diner someone is in the salon singing and making music. Also the polonaise is being done, what a beautiful sight all those elderly people doing the polonaise and what a fun do they have. At 0.00h I go to bed.
