01/14/2004: Monday I called dr.Tisscher again about the morphine. Apparently he had forgotten it, because he will now immediately contact my gp. If I understand it correctly I will get fentanyl patches. I hope it will be arranged quickly now, also because I am almost through my last tramadol and otherwise I have to order again.
Since about just before Christmas I now get every 5 days a B12-shot, sometimes a day later when we forgot. I don't know if it is possible, but it seems as if I get used to the B12 and it also seems as if the B12 already after just a few days doesn't do anything anymore or at least not much. Well, everything is possible with me, but I have never heard of this before.

01/20/2004: Meanwhile my gp has had contact with dr.Tisscher, but my gp doesn't approve the idea of trying morphine for the pain. So now dr.Tisscher prescribes me morphine himself so I can still try it. According to dr.Tisscher it can be that I have no side-effect of the morphine and that the morphine helps against the pain. However it can also be that I react negative to it. In that last case he wants to try another medicine which works the opposite of morphine. Morphine makes sure that you get more morphine in your body, the other stuff takes away all the morphine out of your body. How or what exactly I don't know, but if the morphine doesn't work we will try something else. I know morphine is a heavy drug, but I still want to try it... I have tried so many drugs (meds) that I can also try this one. Although, I know for myself that if I have too many trouble with the side-effects of morphine I will quite immediately and go on with tramadol.
Depending on how much I have to tell about my experiment with morphine, it will be here or I will re-open the part 'painkillers'. (Note d.d. October 2004: It has become a new chapter geworden, see 'Painkillers - Morphine 1'.)

My gp has had contact with the lab of the hospital and those tests dr.Tisscher proposed appear to be rare and only be done at children with a certain metabolism disorder. These tests also appear to be very expensive. As my gp said that I was an ME-patient, the one from the lab immediately refused to do the test. It then was an alternative test and anyway nothing ever is found at ME-patients and these tests were way too expensive. As if he and the lab/hospital has to pay for it! My health insurance pays for it and I pay monthly my health insurance! So there will be no help from him and so I have again to get in contact with dr.Tisscher to tell him this and see how we solve this. Once in a while I really get sick of all this organizing, the obstructions and running after everything and everyone.

07/10/2004: I forgot to mention it, but dr.Tisscher was really mad at the one from that lab and at my gp for telling those stupid things. However he didn't know what to do about it, also because I can't go to the/his hospital to get my blood work so actually there's being done nothing... no blood test.
